Alexandre Antonelli

Professor Alexandre Antonelli is Director of Science at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Full Professor of Biodiversity and Systematics at the University of Gothenburg, Visiting Professor of Biology at Oxford University and Distinguished Scientist at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also Co-Founder of the Antonelli Foundation for Biodiversity Research and Conservation, Trustee of WWF-Sweden, fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, the Royal Geographical Society, the Royal Society of Biology, the Royal Society of Arts and Sciences, among others. Antonelli’s passion is nature, and his mission is to understand and protect biodiversity. He has published over 230 scientific articles.
